Isansys Lifecare: Showcasing new wireless technologies which address the needs of the NHS
Since the beginning of 2015, Isansys has been busy attending conferences and exhibitions to showcase its second generation Patient Status Engine, a continuous wireless patient monitoring and analysis platform.
The company attended the Med-Tech Innovation Exhibition in Coventry, in April. This proved a great opportunity for delegates to learn more about Isansys and for its team to discuss with interested parties how Isansys could provide them with patient surveillance and monitoring services, built on an innovative, low cost and scalable digital platform.
Isansys also attended and presented at BioTrinity 2015 company showcase, Europe’s leading Biopartnering and Investment Conference.
During the three-day event, Keith Errey, CEO of Isansys Lifecare, opened the MediTrinity company showcase sessions with a presentation entitled “More Than Patient Monitoring – Towards Data Driven Precision Healthcare”. This theme and its relevance to clinical practice and patient safety in particular was supported by a poster from Isansys: "Data driven healthcare - Digital diagnostics and new methods for improved patient safety” in the poster presentation sessions sponsored by Oxfordshire Academic Health Science Network.
Last week we were invited to attend Sepsis Unplugged at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham. The event which took place on May 21st and 22nd was organised by the UK Sepsis Trust and brought together healthcare professionals, patient groups, commissioners and policy makers in a collaborative debate to secure a brighter future for patients with sepsis.
Through its work with several NHS hospitals in the UK, Isansys knows that monitoring at-risk patients better and more frequently is required good practice. At Sepsis Unplugged, we demonstrated how the PSE allows care providers to move beyond simply monitoring towards new paradigms in which sepsis (and other conditions) may be detected early using low cost unobtrusive wireless wearable “smart patch” technology and new data-driven physiologic biomarkers.
This has been a fantastic start to 2015 for Isansys, and the team are looking forward to attending a number of other events later this year in which they can introduce to healthcare professionals the new generation digital healthcare platform which puts the patient at the centre of care.
